Key Responsibilities
As an Asset Services Associate, you’ll play a vital role in processing corporate events and ensuring accurate and timely handling of entitlements and positions. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Reviewing and validating corporate action events by coordinating with clients and external agents
- Sending timely client notifications for corporate actions
- Supporting and guiding offshore vendor teams (e.g., Eclerx)
- Reconciliation of corporate actions and coupon payments
- Monitoring and reporting risk; identifying potential financial exposure
- Responding to ad hoc requests from Business Units like Private Wealth Management or Client Services
- Proposing system/control enhancements and collaborating with IT for implementation
- Participating in UAT and production rollouts
What You Bring
- 2+ years of banking experience, preferably in asset servicing or corporate actions
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
- Excellent English communication (verbal & written)
- High attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, SWIFT, Xcitek, or similar platforms is a plus
- Prior experience with corporate actions is highly preferred
